Compliance Inspection Report

HUD Inspection, Fee Inspector, FHA Inspector, Compliance Report.

Compliance Reports are completed by a HUD Fee Inspector. This report is prepared for a lender requesting the compliance report. The lender makes arrangements with the title company for payment to the Fee Inspector.

The purpose of this report is to visually review the condition/status of the home, 1) to make sure the home is complete 2) conduct an overall general check for code compliance. The Fee Inspector either approves the work in place as complete and the lender is able to go forward and process the loan or notes items on the Compliance Report deficiencies that are incomplete which will delay the closing. Deficiencies noted will require a Fee Inspector to return to the jobsite when deficiencies are completed and issue a new final Compliance Report which will then allow the lender to process the loan.
